Argentina 3-0 Croatia
Argentina booked their place in the final of the 2022 World Cup after quite a comfortable semi final win against Croatia.

France 2-0 Morocco
Morocco had their chances for another upset but they were not clinical in front of goal. France took and early lead in the 5th minute through a goal from Theo Hernandez, and they had their lead doubled in teh 79th minute with Kolo Muani’s first touch 40 seconds after entering the game in teh 79th minute.

Morocco flew higher than they’ve ever done at the World Cup.
They became the first African nation to reach the semifinal stage of the World Cup. Unfortunately, they couldn’t move on to the final.

Croatia won the silver medal after coming in as Runner-up in 2018.
They will have to target a downgrade and go for the bronze medal this time around.

Argentina has been in search of ‘gold’ since 1986. They’ve been to the final twice since then and have suffered defeat against Germany on both occasions. (1990, and 2014).

France returns to the final as a defending champion.
The last defending champions to reach the final of the FIFA World Cup was Brazil in 1998. 
The last defending champions to return to a final and win was Brazil in 1962.
The only other defending champions to win the final was Italy in 1938.
