Napoli and AC Milan stayed even in points at the top of the Serie A table after they both dropped points in a 1-1 draw from their respective matches.
Defeat against Venezia dropped Roma out of the top 4 to 6th place.
Atalanta moved up a position to 4th by a win at Cagliari.

While Lazio picked up the maximum points against a newly promoted side, Roma was losing to one.
Lazio moved up a position to 5th with a win against Salernitana.

A late winner moved Juventus a position up to 8th.
Spezia moved out of the relegation zone after beating Torino. Sampdoria dropped in the relegation zone as their replacement.

Torino opened up a three-point gap on Spezia in the league with Jacopo Sala scoring the only goal of the match.

JUVENTUS 1-0 FIORENTINA
Juventus came to this game on the back of successive defeats, and it looked like they were going to leave this fixture without a win until Juan Cuadrado scored the only goal of the match in the first minute of the final additional time for Juventus to put an end to a streak of three league games without a win.
The result allowed Juventus to equal Fiorentina in points.

CAGLIARI 1-2 ATALANTA
Duran Zapata’s 43rd-minute goal ended up getting Atalanta the maximum points at Cagliari.

VENEZIA 3-2 ROMA
It was consecutive league defeats for Roma after blowing away a first-half lead to lose by a goal against newly-promoted Venezia.
Venezia came from a trailing 2-1 in the first half to win the second half 2-0.

LAZIO 3- 0 SALERNITANA
A comfortable home victory for Lazio against newly-promoted Salernitana.

NAPOLI 1-1 HELLAS VERONA
Giovanni Simeone was on the scoresheet for Hellas Verona in a draw that denied Napoli the maximum points.
Daniel Bessa and Nikola Kalinic received second yellow cards in the dying minutes of the match to see Hellas Verona end the game with 9 men.
