Juventus booked their tickets to Cardiff.
Juventus became the first team to get to the final of the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League after another victory over Monaco.
For most neutral fans, the thought about a player like Gianluigi Buffon adding a UCL title to his trophy cabinet will bring joy to their hearts.
After an impressive showing, a 4-1 aggregate score knocked Monaco out of the competition. Thanks to Kylian Mbappe’s goal in the 69th minute, Monaco left the tie with a goal to their name while ending Juventus streak of not conceding a goal in the knockout stage.
Dani Alves was instrumental in Juventus success in the semi-final. It might just be that he will pick up a UCL title in his first season with Juventus.
Unless Atletico Madrid can perform a miracle, Juventus will be looking forward to seeing Real Madrid join them in the finale.
