Wolves made-up for the dropped points against Newcastle with a win against Crystal Palace. Two in the opening 30 minutes of the match was all that Wolves needed to put aside Crystal Palace.

It was a narrow victory for Manchester City but 3 points is what they needed. Kyle Walker scored the one goal of the match for Manchester City to leave Sheffield United winless after 7 rounds.

Hakim Ziyech opened the scoring in the Premier League by opening the scoring for Chlesea in a 3-0 away win against Burnley.

Liverpool survived another scare to win at home. And just like in the previous round, Liverpool had to come from an early goal down at home to win from a Diogo Jota second-half goal.

Southampton handed Aston Villa their consecutive league defeat after ending Everton’s unbeaten start to the season. James Ward-Prowse scored two goals as Southampton picked up three points from a 4-3 win away against Aston Villa. Aston Villa made a late comeback to cut the deficit to a single goal but they still ended up losing their consecutive league match after starting the season with 4 wins in a row.

Callum Wilson scored both goals to get Newcastle a win at home against Everton. A consecutive defeat for an Everton side that started the season looking like title challengers.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored from the spot in the 69th-minute for Arsenal to end consecutive ‘1-0’ defeats in the league with a ‘1-0’ away win against Manchester United.

Gareth Bale’s first league goal for Tottenham on his return gave the climb a narrow victory at home against Brighton.

Fulham won their first of the season and it was against a fellow recently-promoted side; West Brom.

Leeds United went from ending Aston Villa’s winning streak to losing at home. Youri Teilemans finished the game with two goals as Leicester City made it 4 consecutive wins in all competitions from a 4-1 victory at Leeds.
