From 64 teams down to 32.

There remains a possibility of 14 Premier League teams to make the next round of the FA Cup if Newcastle ad Southampton can both win their respective ‘replay’ matches.

With Bournemouth going against Brighton while Wolverhampton against Liverpool, it was destined that not all the 20 Premier League teams involved in the Third Round of the English FA Cup were not going to be part of the final 32 teams in the competition.
However, the expectations from many would be that that 17-18 of the Premier League teams make the cut.

12 out of the 20 Premier League advanced to the 4th Round of the FA Cup.
