A couple of penalty calls and lackluster defensive performance by Atalanta saw them blow a 3-goal first half lead against Lazio.

Arkadiusz Milik provided the goals for Napoli to do the expected by picking up a ‘2-0’ home against newly-promoted Hellas Verona.

Miralem Pjanic‘s goal in the 54th-minute made the difference for Juventus against Bologna after Cristiano opened the scoring with his 701 career goal. Juventus remain unbeaten in the league and stays at the top of the league table.

Inter Milan managed to get out with a win after allowing a three-goal lead to be reduced to a goal lead with 8 minutes of regulation time to play. Lauturo Martinez and Romelu Lukaku provided a couple of goals each to keep Inter Milan a point behind Juventus in the early titles.

Radja Nianggolan opened the scoring with a sweet volley from outside the box to lead Cagliari to a ‘2-0’ win against SPAL.

Justin Kluivert is sent off on a red as Roma is held to a goalless draw by bottom table Sampdoria.

Udinese beat Torino to equal them in points accumulated after 8 rounds.

Andreas Cornelius scored a hat-trick in Parma’s clinical performance against Genoa.

AC Milan conceded a late goal to lose two points at home against newly-promoted Lecce.

It wasn’t a 4th successive victory for Fiorentina. There were held to a goalless draw by Brescia.
