Juventus dropped their first pair of points after a ‘luckily’ coming out of Florence with a point from a goalless draw against Fiorentina.

A goal in each half for Dries Mertens gave Napoli the three points against a Sampdoria side that remains winless in the league.

It was 3 wins out of 3 for Inter Milan after Stefano Sensi scored the only goal of the match against Udinese to keep Inter Milan’s perfect start.

Duvan Zapata scored a late injury-time goal to seal a win on the road for Atalanta when it looked like Domenico Criscito’s goal from the penalty spot had salvaged a draw for Genoa.

After being behind two goals on two occasions in the first half of the match, Bologna came on top in a 7-goal match against newly promoted Brescia.

Parma suffered defeat at home after failing to recover from Luca Ceppitelli’s two goals in the first-half of their match against Cagliari. It was Cagliari’s first win of the season after starting off with two defeats.

A point for each side would have been fair but SPAL takes the maximum points from Lazio through Jasmin Kurtic’s goal in the 90+2′-minute.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored his first goal for Roma as his side picked up a 4-2 win against Sassuolo. It could have been a bigger margin of win for Roma if the woodwork hadn’t saved Sassuolo a few times.

Krzysztof Piatek’s penalty was the only difference between AC Milan and a 10-man Hellas Verona. Hellas Verona had to play over 70 minutes with a numerical disadvantage after Mariusz Stepinski got sent off in the 21st-minute.

A ‘2-1’ home defeat against newly-promoted Lecce meant that Torino failed to get the win that would have seen them join Inter Milan at the top of the league table. It was Lecce’s first win of the season.
