Three goals in the second half saw Borussia Dortmund kick off the round with a 4-0 victory at home against Eintracht Frankfurt. It was a result Dortmund needed to bounce back from consecutive defeats that saw them get eliminated from the German Cup and picking up no points in at Leverkusen.

Augsburg held on to secure a draw at home against Freiburg.
A needed point for Augsburg to bounce back from their ‘5-0’ thrashing against Frankfurt.
For Freiburg, it was a run of matches without defeat.

Jamilu Collins’s own-goal saw Hertha Berlin restore their first-half lead to pick up a win against Paderborn.

RB Leipzig kept themselves in the title race by beating Werder Bremen 3-0.
It was the first win for Leipzig in 5 competitive matches (4 league matches).

Wout Weghorst scored all the goals for Wolfsburg to leave Hoffenheim with a ‘3-2’ victory.
Hoffenheim have now lost in their last three matches.

It was a thrilling end of the match between Union Berlin and Bayer Leverkusen.
Before Karim Bellarabi’s injury time goal saved the day for Leverkusen in Berlin, Mario Butler scored for Union Berlin in the 87th-minute to cancel out Moussa Diaby’s 83rd-minute goal that had given Leverkusen a lead.

Lars Stindl contributed two goals in the second half for Borussia Monchengladbach to finish ‘4-1’ winners against Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Robert Lewandowski scored his 23rd goal of the season as Bayern Munich sealed a ‘4-1’ win against FC Koln to keep their place at the top of the Bundesliga standings.

Mainz picked up a point from a goalless draw at home against Schalke.
Four consecutive league matches including three straight draws for Schalke, while Mainz manages to stay unbeaten after three straight defeats.
