Paris St. Germain’s lead at the top of the table is extended to 5 points after 10 rounds of the season.
The biggest margin between any two sides in the league is 2 points.
Wissam Ben Yedder’s late goal against Rennes gave Monaco the win and made him the current top goalscorer in the league with 8 goals.

Angel Di Maria set Paris St. Germain up for a win by scoring the two opening goals of the match against Nice. Nice pulled a goal back but found themselves down by two players when Wylan Cyprien and Christophe Herelle were both sent off on a red card (74th and 76th minute respectively). Having the numerical advantage towards the end of the match allowed PSG to double their goals scored to beat Nice ‘4-1’ at the Allianz Riviera.

Lyon went 8 winless matches in the league after being held to a goalless draw at home by a Dijon side that is at the bottom of the league table. Dijon is now unbeaten in their last 4 league matches (2W, 2D).

Yunis Abdelhamid scored early in the 3rd-minute to hand Reims a win at home against Montpellier. Both sides were looking for the win to separate themselves in points accumulated.

It was back-to-back league defeat for Angers after falling at home to newly-promoted Brest. Irvin Cardona scored the only goal in the 67th-minute to decide the game.

Nantes fall further away from the top after losing to Metz. Habibou Diallo’s goal in the 87th-minute hande Metz a win over a Nantes side that had been playing for about half an hour with a numerical disadvantage. The ‘1-0’ defeat and Paris St. Germain’s win in the opening match of the round has created a 5 point gap at the top of the league standings.

Max-Alain Gradel missed a penalty that would have doubled his tally in the match but Toulouse went on to win ‘2-1’ against Lille. It was their first win in 6 matches.

Amiens get a point on the road after Arturo Calabresi scored an injury-time equalizer in the second half to end the match ‘1-1’ against Nimes.

Denis Bouanga converted from the spot in the final minute of the match to see Saint-Etienne steal a win at Bordeaux. A ‘1-0’ victory for Saint-Etienne was their third consecutive victory after failing to win their 6 previous league matches. Bordeaux would have finished the round in the ‘top four’ if they had found a home victory from this fixture.

Wissam Ben Yedder opened end ended the scoring in a 5-goal game between Monaco and Rennes. Ben Yedder’s second half injury-time goal decided the match for the home team by putting them on the right side of a ‘3-2’ score.

Marseille beat Strasbourg to end a run of 4 consecutive matches without a win.
