Matt Targett scored in the final minute to complete a comeback and see Aston Villa pick up three points at home against a Brighton side that was reduced to 10-men in the 35th-minute when Aaron Mooy received a second yellow card within a space of 5 minutes.

Newcastle did their best to get something from Stamford Bridge but Chelsea found the only goal of the match through Marcos Alonso in the 73rd-minute to win their third straight league fixture.

Leicester City bounced back from defeat to Liverpool by coming from behind to get a home win against Burnley.

In a game that demanded a win from both teams, Tottenham and Watford had to settle for a point each from a ‘1-1’ draw. Tottenham needed a win to get back to their pre-season expectations as a title contender, while Watford needed their first win of the season to help them climb from the bottom of the league standings.

It was 4 league matches without defeat for Wolves after a Raul Jimenez converted a penalty into the equalizing goal that saw his team avoid a defeat at home to a Southampton side that was also in search to avoid a third straight league defeat in the league.

Manchester City finds two goals towards the end of the first-half to bounce from their shocking defeat against Wolves in the last round with a ‘2-0’ win away against Crystal Palace.

Liverpool winning run in the league came to an end at Old Trafford and a win short of equalling the record consecutive victories in the league (18). Liverpool came into the match as clear favorites and in the end, they were lucky to get a point from the match. Jurgen Klopp remains without a win at Old Trafford. Liverpool lead at the top of the table is reduced to 6 points but they remain the only unbeaten side in the league.

Arsenal finished the round outside the top four after defeat to newly-promoted Sheffield United. Lys Mousset‘s goal in the 30th-minute was enough Sheffield the maximum points at home.
