Inter Milan returned to their poor start poor start after a 1-0 defeat at home to newly-promoted Parma. It was Parma first victory of the season.

Sassuolo suffers their first defeat of the season to leave Juventus as the only unbeaten side and the only team in Serie A that is yet to drop a point.
Cristiano Ronaldo opens his goalscoring account at Juventus and scored both of their goals in a 2-1 victory over Sassuolo. Juventus on top of the league standings with Napoli a win and 5 goals away from being a real threat to their position.

Lorenzo Insigne saved Napoli by scoring an important goal to give his side a 1-0 victory against Fiorentina.

Lazio makes is back-to-back victories after finding the winning goal against Empoli. Gonzalo Higuain scored his first for AC Milan but it wasn’t enough to get his side maximum points against Cagliari.

Roma had to settle for a point at home against Chievo Verona despite having a 2-goal lead at the break. It was another win for Sampdoria after putting 5 goals past newly-promoted Frost none without getting a reply.

In the final match of the round, Andrea Petagna scored two second-half goals to help SPAL 2013 climb to second-place in the league standings after beating Atalanta.
