Inter Milan would be disappointed for suffering defeat at Cagliari and dropping down to 4th in the league.

Empoli needed this result to help battle the relegation threat.
It was a 6-goal thriller when Empoli and Parma met. Empoli scored a late equalizer to deny Parma from a win that would have seen the points between the two teams widened to 11 points.

Lazio smashed Roma in the Derby della Capitale. Lazio moves within a win from equaling Roma’s points accumulation in the league after taking a ‘3-0’ win in the Rome derby. Roma’s first league defeat in their last 9 matches.

6 straight league matches without a defeat for Torino with a 50% winning record after doing the expected and dishing out a 3-0 defeat to bottom table Chievo Verona.

A 10-man Frosinone side picked up a point from Genoa after a goalless draw.

Fiorentina couldn’t avoid defeat at Atalanta despite getting an early lead in the 3rd minute from Luis Muriel. Atalanta wins 3-1.

Juventus marches to their 8th straight Serie A title after beating Napoli away to open a 16 points lead at the top of the table. Just like their earlier meeting in the season, Napoli had their opportunities to get something out of this fixture but failed to make it count.
