Both Inter Milan and Napoli scored 5 goals each to keep up with Juventus in the title race.
Dries Mertens scored a hat-trick in Napoli’s 5-1 win at home against Empoli to kick off the round, while Inter Milan scored the same amount in goals without conceding any when they faced Genoa.

With the assistance of the VAR, Alessio Romagnoli’s goal deep in injury-time gives AC Milan the three points against Udinese.
Chievo Verona stayed in the negative after falling at home to Sassuolo. Verona remains the only side without a win after 11 matches played.
Atalanta came from a goal down to beat Bologna by a goal and widen the gap in points between the two teams to 6.
Andrea Belotti scored two goals as a clinical Torino found four goals to leap over Sampdoria in that standings.

Juventus remains unbeaten in Serie A as they march on to their 8th consecutive league title with a victory at home against Cagliari. It’s a 6-point gap at the top of the league standings between Juventus and the remainder of the league.

Alessandro Florenzi rescued Roma from a defeat to Fiorentina with a late goal as his side goes winless in consecutive matches in the league to finish the round at the tip of the top half of the league standings. Their city rival Lazio enjoyed a comfortable 4 -1 win against SPAL to stay touching-distance with a ‘top-four’ teams in the league.
