2018/19 German Bundesliga – Round 14 – The Revierderby winners and league leaders

Posted on

Bottom-table Fortuna Dusseldorf opened the round with a defeat against Werder Bremen.

Jadon Sancho scored the winning goal for Borussia Dortmund to remain unbeaten and 7 points clear at the top of the league standings after taking 3 points at the VELTINS-Arena in the Revierderby against Schalke 04.

Robert Lewandowski scored a brace as Bayern Munich easily saw off Nurnberg to move up to third in the standings after RB Leipzig endured a 3-0 defeat at Freiburg.

Andrej Kramaric scored a 71st-minute equalizing goal for Hoffenheim to avoid defeat to a Wolfsburg side that was on a streak of beating teams in contention for a place in the top 4 of the standings.

A defeat against Hertha Berlin made it a consecutive defeat in the league for Eintracht Frankfurt.

Borussia Monchengladbach closed the round with 3 points from 3 goals against Stuttgart.
