The last time Monaco was victorious in a Ligue 1 match was on August 11, 2018, since then Monaco has gone 5 league matches without a victory (3D,2L). The best Monaco could do at home against new.y-promoted Nimes was a 1-1 draw.

Lille does the job against Nantes to win ‘2-1’ and kept up the pace with Paris St. Germain at the top end of the league standings.

Angers kept a run of undefeated matches in the league after a goalless draw with Toulouse. It was a back-to-back league draw for Toulouse.

Nice returned to their losing ways after suffering a ‘1-0’ defeat at Montpellier.

Reims hosted a goalless draw with Dijon. Saint-Etienne came from behind to win at home against Caen ‘2-1’. Strasbourg avoided a home defeat by scoring 3 second-half goals to bounce back from going down at the end of the first half against Amiens.

After a shaky first-half, Paris St. Germain had to come from a goal down to beat Rennes and keep their perfect start to the season.

Guingamp remains winless at the bottom of the standings after another defeat. Bordeaux bounced back from points dropped at home to newly-promoted Nimes with a ‘3-1’ victory over struggling Guingamp.

And in a heavyweight clash to end the round, Lyon with the backing of home fans successfully secured the maximum points from their match against Marseille. Bertrand Traore scored a brace as Lyon equaled the points accumulated by Marseille, and denied them a top-four finish after Round 6.
