After conceding two early goals in the first half, relegation-zoned Fulham returned from the break and scored 4 two beat Brighton for a 4-2 win. It was Fulham’s first win after 4 successive defeats.

The shocker of the round was Manchester City falling to ‘2-1’ defeat at the St.James Park despite taking a goal lead in the first minute. Newcastle United helped themselves in their relegation battle by coming from behind to get an improbable win against Manchester City.

Gonzalo Higuain’s first Premier League match with Chelsea is one he will like to forget as soon as possible. Chelsea dropped to 5th place in the league standings after suffering a 4-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

Despite being first to score, Liverpool failed to take the maximum advantage of Manchester City’s defeat at Newcastle. Liverpool had to settle for a point at home against Leicester City

Tottenham came from a goal down to seal a victory against Watford.
