2017/18 UEFA Champions League – Round Two : Day One- Dortmund is in trouble.

In Group E, Sevilla did what was expected of them and took all three points with three goals against Maribor, while Liverpool could only manage to get an equalizer for a point against Spartak Moscow. In Group F, the majority of football fans expected Manchester City and Napoli to come out from their fixtures with a victory at home, and they both did just that. It took until the end of the match for Manchester City to double their goals and secure a 2-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk, while Napoli almost comfortable defeated Feyenoord 3 goals to 1.

Real Madrid made it two victories in as many matches in Group H after beating Dortmund for an away victory.

Porto was successful in Monaco and picked up maximum points from three goals. Vincent Aboubakar was the star man for Porto in this match for scoring a brace. It is looking like RB Leipzig will have to wait a little longer to get their first victory in the Champions League after suffering their first Champions League defeat to Besiktas.

Both home teams in Group H suffered a defeat while conceding three goals. Harry Kane scored all the goals for Tottenham Hotspurs to defeat APOEL Nicosia 3 goals to nil, while Real Madrid increased the pressure on Borussia Dortmund by handing them a 3-0 defeat.
