Round five of Ligue 1 brought us an outright league leader.
All their guns fired as Paris Saint-Germain picked up another expected Ligue 1 victory. Kylian Mbappe scored his first goal(winning goal) for PSG to pick all three points away at Metz. Edinson Cavani scored a brace to share the top scorer position with Radamel Falcao(Monaco).

The best thing about this victory for Paris Saint-Germain will be the fact that Monaco was handed a heavy ‘4-0’ defeat by an OGC Nice side that has been struggling since the start of the season. The result made way for PSG to open a three point lead at the top of the table. Can anyone catch them?
Metz remains the only side with a 100% losing record. PSG, Lyon, Bordeaux, and Angers are the four teams that remain undefeated.
