These days, winning by massive goal margins is just a regular thing for Paris Saint-Germain to do. Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco both picked up big wins over the weekend. The way PSG is going about their matches will surely make the 4-point gap between the two sides will be a difficult one for Monaco to fill up. Edinson Cavani contributed two goals to PSG’s away victory over Angers. Those two goals allowed Cavani to tie Radamel Falcao at the top of the goalscoring list with 13 goals.

Nantes keeps on fighting a good fight as they picked up their seventh league victory of the season by beating Toulouse. Mario Balotelli converted a penalty for Nice to leap over Dijon in the league standings with a victory.

In the Derby Rhônealpin, Nabil Fekir scored two against Saint-Etienne to help Lyon to an away victory. Fekir’s celebration of his second goal of the match struck a nerve with Saint-Etienne supporters and caused a pitch invasion that ended up aborting the match for some time. In the end, the result stood and Lyon humiliated Saint-Etienne. It didn’t help that Saint-Etienne played with a man down for half of the match.
