A possible repeat of last competition final could occur at the semi final stage if Jamaica and Mexico come out victorious in their quarter-final fixtures.

Costa Rica, Panama, United States, Mexico, Jamaica and Canada made it to the quarter finals of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup the right way.

Honduras and El Salvador were the two 3rd placed teams that complete the quarter-final stage of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.Unfortunately, these two will be facing the favorites in this tournament.
