2017/18 UEFA Champions League Semi-finals (first leg) – It’s a Liverpool and Real Madrid final at the moment. Salah didn’t stop scoring, Cristiano did.

Anfield was showered with goals when Liverpool welcomed AS Roma.
Liverpool and Roma opened the semi-final round at Anfield. The two teams have defied the odds of the pre-tournament predictions are just a couple of matches away from the final. Liverpool was 5 goals up before Roma gave a response.
Mohamed Salah might not have celebrated his goals against his former side, but it played no role to help reduce the pain for Roma. Salah opened the scoring for the match and doubled Liverpool’s lead before the break.
Two late goals for Roma has placed them in a situation where a replicate score of their quarter-final home match against FC Barcelona will send them final.

Two of the best in the world went at it once again in the knockout stage of the Champions League.
Both teams see this fixture as the biggest hurdle in their quest to be European Champions. Real Madrid is looking for a 13th Champions League title and a 3rd in a row. Bayern is looking for a 6th.

Real Madrid is on their way to title #13 after coming from a goal down to win at the Allianz Arena. Bayern Munich will have to get a victory at the Bernabeu to turn the tie around or Real Madrid will be knocking them out of the Champions League again.

We’ve already experienced a few shockers and upsets in this competition to think we have the right to call the final two. There remains a lot to fight for in the second-leg.
