2017/18 Italian Serie A – Round 22 – Napoli and Juventus are chasing the title from 10-points away from the rest of Serie A

Napoli and Juventus maintain the point gap between themselves after each came out of the 22nd round with a victory. A ‘2-0’ away victory over a 10-man Chievo Verona side was how Juventus secured maximum points from this round. Napoli had to come from conceding a first-minute goal to take all three points against Bologna.

Lazio’s 6-game undefeated run in the league came to an end at the San Siro after AC Milan got the majority of the three first-half goals scored in the match. The result opened a 10-point gap between the top two teams and the rest of the league. Ciro Immobile was not on the scoresheet but remains top goalscorer with his 20 goals.

Failing to convert a first-half penalty came to bite Roma in their match against Sampdoria. Roma was defeated in front of their home crowds to make it 6 successive league matches without a victory, (4 draws and 2 losses)

A late equalizer extended Inter Milan’s winless run in the league to 7 games. Inter Milan had to settle for a point against relegation-zoned SPAL 2013.

Moise Kean scored a brace to see Fiorentina get beaten ‘4-1’ at home by recently-promoted Hellas Verona.

Benevento didn’t make a move at the bottom of the league table after a ‘3-0’ defeat to Torino.
