Inter Milan suffered a shocking defeat at home to Udinese to end their unbeaten run in the 2017/18 Italian Serie A season, and Inter’s close competitors didn’t fail to capitalize on the result. Napoli grabbed an away victory over Torino to regain top spot in the league, while Juventus secured an away victory over Bologna to leap over Inter in the league standings.
Despite Inter Milan failings, Mauro Icardi scored a goal to add to his tally at the top of the goal scoring list with 17 goals.
A late goal gave Roma the victory to keep them in contact with the top three clubs, while city rival Lazio narrowly avoided victory at Atalanta.
