Wolfsburg remained under the relegation threat after getting hammered at home by Borussia Monchengladbach with 3 first-half goals.

When fully staffed, RB Leipzig conceded three and scored none but when reduced by a man, they managed to score two goals while conceding an additional two.Hoffenheim got the larger part of a 7-goal thrilling match against RB Leipzig. A ‘5-2’ away win allowed Hoffenheim to leap over RB Leipzig in the league standings.

Champions Bayern Munich raised their game in the second-half with some substitutions and picked up a 3-0 win at Hannover 96.

Hertha Berlin beats Frankfurt to put a dent in their Europa League qualification dreams for next season. Augsburg secured safety in the Bundesliga after beating Mainz 05

Dortmund is in position to finish the season as the second-best team in Germany.
Bayer Leverkusen was involved in a third straight Bundesliga match that a team scored 4 goals. Unfortunately, Leverkusen found themselves on the wrong end of the score this time. Borussia Dortmund with the backing of their home supporters, was able to grab an important ‘4-0’ victory against Bayer Leverkusen, opening a 3-point gap between the two sides in the ‘top four.

Bottom-table FC Koln fought back from 2 goals down to grab a point at home against Schalke 04. The result will probably do very little to change the fortunes of FC Koln, but it opens up a new race in the fight for direct qualification to the UEFA Champions League at the top end of the league standings. 2nd and 4th in the league are separated by five points with 9 points left in the season for the teams.
