It didn’t take a long time in Der Klassiker for Bayern Munich to emphasize their dominance in the league. After just 25-minutes, Bayern Munich was 3 goals up against Borussia Dortmund and took a 5-0 goal lead to the break. League top scorer, Robert Lewandowski scored the only goal in the second-half to make it a resounding 6-0 victory for Bayern Munich and a very harsh was for Borussia Dortmund to end their run of being undefeated in the league in 2018.

Hannover 96 got goals back to make the match interesting, bur RB Leipzig too all three points and made it a back-to-back league victory. The result brought Leipzig back to a Champions League qualifying position in the league after Augsburg held Bayer Leverkusen to a point.

Borussia Dortmund fell 4 points from second-place since Schalke 04 secured the maximum points against Freiburg. Hoffenheim hammered relegation-zoned FC Koln with 6 goals.

Bayern is 17 points clear with just 18 points left for each team in the league. Title number 27 will surely be sealed in their next league fixture (vs Augsburg)
