Mario Gomez guided Stuttgart to a victory away against Freiburg. Gomez scored his second of the match to restore Stuttgart’s lead after Nils Petersen scored his 13th of the season to hand Freiburg an equalizer.

Werder Bremen has gone 4 games undefeated and won a consecutive league match to drift away from the relegation battles. The away victory against Augsburg shortened the points between the sides to two points.

A late Matthias Ginter goals saved Borussia Monchengladbach from a home defeat to Hoffenheim. A defeat for Monchengladbach would have widened the point-gap between to two sides.

Mainz 05 remained in the relegation zone after conceding three goals in the first half against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Hertha Berlin came from a goal down to beat Hamburger SV. Hamburger SV is yet to enjoy a victory in 2018.

Schalke 04 kept a tight grip on the second-place position after picking up their 5th straight win in the league while keeping Wolfsburg at the edge of the drop zone, While Borussia Dortmund held on strong to third-place by remaining undefeated in the league after Michy Batshuayi’s first-half goal proved to be the winning goal against Hannover 96.

RB Leipzig spoiled the party for Bayern Munich.
Naby Keita inspired RB Leipzig to their first victory against Bayern Munich. A victory that puts the title on ice a little longer for Bayern, while bringing Leipzig back in contention for a top-four finish.

Relegation-zoned FC Koln were ‘2-0’ winners against a Bayer Leverkusen side that was looking for a victory to stay in the top four. The result saw Eintracht Frankfurt climb above Leverkusen with 7 matches left to go.
