2017/18 German Bundesliga – Round 19 – Bayern Munich pulls 16 points clear.
Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller shared the goal scoring duties for Bayern Munich to pick up another victory and a 16-point gap at the top of the Bundesliga table. Lewandowski’s goals took his season tally to 17 goals as top scorer.
Bayer Leverkusen climbed to second in the league standings
Freiburg was victorious at home against RB Leipzig. A ‘2-1’ defeat to Leipzig ended up dragging them out of second-place when Bayer Leverkusen won convincingly in their away fixture against a Hoffenheim side that has been struggling to put together a string of wins.
Borussia Dortmund did enough to pick up a point away against Hertha Berlin.
With a goal in each half, Borussia Monchengladbach opened a four-point gap between themselves and Augsburg. Mainz defeated Stuttgart to equaled them in points accumulated.
In the relegation battle, FC Koln third victory of the season was from a ‘2-0’ victory at Hamburg.
