2017/18 German Bundesliga – Round 18 – Bayern Munich kick start the second half of the season with another victory.
Hannover 96 returned to winning way in the Bundesliga through a Niclas Fullkrug hat-trick in their home victory over Mainz 05. Bayern Munich is 13 points clear at the top of the league standings and closer to another Bundesliga title after coming out on top against Bayer Leverkusen.
RB Leipzig climbed back to being the second best team in Germany when they picked up all points against Schalke 04 in an important clash at the top end of the league table. A goalless draw between Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg meant Dortmund couldn’t take full advantage of Schalke’s defeat to Leipzig.
FC Koln grabbed their second league victory of the season and stopped a Borussia Monchengladbach from a possible move into the top three in the league standings.
Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski remains top scorer with 15 goals, with his side scoring the most goal at 40 goals in 18 league matches.
