Change in management brought an instant change to Borussia Dortmund’s fortunes in the Bundesliga, as they picked up their first league victory since September 30. Fans will be hoping this is a start of a new streak.
Schalke 04 took advantage of RB Leipzig’s inability to find a win at Wolfsburg and moved up to second place in the league standings with a hard-fought 3-2 win at home over Augsburg.
Top-scorer Robert Lewandowski added a goal to his tally to help guide Bayern Munich to a full three points from bottom table Koln. Bayern sits on top of the league with a 9-point gap between themselves and the rest of the league table.
