Top scorer Edinson Cavani scored his 28th goal of the Ligue 1 season in a ‘2-2’ draw at Amiens in the round opener.

All the three remaining teams that are competing for a place in the ‘top four’ picked up maximum points in this round. Monaco was saved from dropping points when Moussa Sylla scored his second goal of the match to them an away victory against Caen.

Bertrand Traore leads Lyon to a comfortable win at home over Troyes. And Marseille bounced back from an early goal down to beat Nice.

Toulouse dropped to relegation after back-to-back league defeats.
Nicolas Pepe was the man of the match in Lille ‘3-2’ away victory against Toulouse.
Lille need this result to have a streak of wins in the league, and to switch their place in the relegation zone with Toulouse.
Despite being on a short winning streak, Lille recent success has come against fellow bottom-table sides. The task will be to find positive results in their final two matches of the season; against ‘mid-table’ Dijon and Saint-Etienne.

After holding on to a goal lead for the entirety of regulation time, relegated Metz lost the match when Angers scored two goals in quick succession, deep into stoppage time.
