Manchester City is deservingly crowned as league winners after a goalless draw with Huddersfield Town. A point at Etihad helped Huddersfield Town in fighting to avoid a return to the Championship after just a year in the Premier League.

Relegation-threatened Southampton’s hope was crushed when Everton scored a late equalizer to deny them a much-needed victory.

Stoke City becomes the first team to be relegated
Brighton & Hove Albion beat Manchester United to secure safety in the Premier League after their first year up, while AFC Bournemouth secured safety by keeping Swansea City to the drop zone. West Ham United beat Leicester City to move closer to secure safety. Newcastle United lost their third consecutive match after suffering a defeat to Watford. Crystal Palace scored two second-half goals to come from a goal down to win and relegated Stoke City from their Premier League.

No goals for Mo Salah, No wins for Liverpool.
West Bromwich Albion stays alive in the league after beating Tottenham Hotspur. The ‘1-0’ win for West Bromwich Albion leaves Tottenham Hotspurs exposed to the possibility of missing out on Champions League football in the coming year after Chelsea won their game at home against Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah remains top scorer with 31 goals.
