Marcus Rashford stars as 2nd-place Manchester United opened a 5-point gap between themselves and 3rd-place Liverpool. Rashford’s first-half brace was enough to see Manchester United secure another home victory against a formidable opposition. An own goal was the best Liverpool could get from the fixture after having most of the ball possession in the second-half.

Everton defeated Brighton & Hove Albion to separate themselves in points. It was Brighton’s first defeat in 8-competitive matches.

Some West Ham United supporters disrupted the play when the team was looking to head into a third successive league defeat and a what looks like a free fall into relegation. The match finished with West Ham United suffering a ‘3-0’ home defeat to Burnley.

Leicester City bounced back from a goal down to beat bottom-table West Bromwich Albion. Despite an early numerical advantage, Huddersfield Town had to settle for a point at home against Swansea City.

Newcastle United made a progressive move in their relegation battle with a 3-0 victory against fellow relegation-threatened Southampton.

On their return back to their home ground, Chelsea defeated Crystal Palace to make up for their defeats at Manchester.

Harry Kane picked up an ankle injury, but Tottenham was able to come from a goal down to beat AFC Bournemouth.

In the final match of the round, scored a goal in each half for Manchester City to maintain a 16-point gap at the top of the table. The ‘2-0’ away victory against Stoke City means the title-deciding match is just a few games away for Manchester City.
