2017/18 English Premier League – Round 24 – Arsenal and Chelsea are big winners.

Liverpool went from beating the first-place team to suffering a defeat to the last-place team in the league. Bottom table Swansea City managed to hold on to a single goal to take all points against a team that handed Manchester City their only league defeat of the season.

Sergio Aguero scored a perfect hat-trick against Newcastle United to see his Manchester City side bounced back from their first league defeat of the season with a victory.

Manchester United grinded out a result to keep the title race interesting. Anthony Martial’s goal handed Manchester United all points in their away fixture against Burnley.

Ahead of their league cup fixture on Wednesday, both Arsenal and Chelsea scored four goals in their respective matches to win by big margins. Arsenal score 4 goals before the 23rd minute to have a comfortable victory at home over Crystal Palace.

Chelsea had divided their four goals against Brighton & Hove Albion into the halves, with Eden Hazard being involved in each.

Harry Kane got a goal, but Tottenham Hotspur could only manage a draw at Southampton. Kane’s goal takes his tally to 21 goals.

Theo Walcott debut for Everton with an assist that saved his side from a defeat at home to West Bromwich Albion. Javier Hernandez did the same for West Ham United against AFC Bournemouth.
