2017/18 English Premier League – Round 21 – The winning streak finally ends for Manchester City. (The undefeated run continues)

Manchester City winning run comes to an end at Selhurst Park. It could have been a worse result for Manchester City, as a late penalty for Crystal Palace that could have taken away their undefeated record and winning streak, was not converted to a goal.

Manchester United finish the 2017 year without a victory in their last four matches. A goalless draw to Southampton in addition to Chelsea’s thrashing of Stoke City, pulled Manchester United out of the ‘top two’ for the first time all season.

Mohamed Salah scored a brace to bring Liverpool from an early goal down to a victory over Leicester City.

Two late goals saw Swansea City come from behind to win at Watford, while Everton suffered their first defeat in 8 league matches after Ryan Fraser’s late goal handed AFC Bournemouth a home victory to end a winless run that goes back to November 25, 2017.

Arsenal stayed further away from the ‘top four’ after a late penalty denied them two points against West Bromwich Albion.

Even tho Tottenham Hotspur was not involved in this weekend actions, Harry Kane remained top scorer in the league with 18 goals.
