Six hat tricks in 2017 for Harry Kane.

It was a consecutive hat-trick for the Harry Kane in Tottenham Hotspur’s victory over Southampton. Harry Kane gathered 56 goals for club and country in the 2017 calendar year to end up the top scorer in Europe major leagues.

Manchester United couldn’t find a victory in their final three matches 2017. Jesse Lingard inspired Manchester United to come from two goals down to get a draw at home against Burnley. The points dropped by United gave way for Chelsea to move a point away from in the league standings.

It is 18 wins and counting to Manchester City as they reset the record for consecutive victories in the Premier League. With Manchester United dropping points at home to Burnley, Manchester City’s ‘1-0’ victory at Newcastle was all they need to open a 15 point lead at the top of the league table.  Even though there is about half of the season left to be played, it is difficult to see a team that has gone 20 games undefeated in the league, suffer 5 defeats in the next 18 games left in the season. It is highly improbable that Manchester City will not lift the trophy at the end of the season.

Mohamed Salah was not on the score sheet, but Liverpool were big winners in Round 20 after thrashing bottom table Swansea City.

Watford ended a 4-match losing streak and a 6-match winless streak when they came from a goal down to beat Leicester City. AFC Bournemouth and West Ham United entertained us after sharing 6 goals evenly.

In the final match of the round, Alexis Sanchez scored a brace in the second-half for Arsenal to leave Crystal Palace with all the points.
