West Brom must beat Exeter City

West Brom must beat Exeter City in the 3rd Round of FA Cup.

When the team at the bottom of the league table has double the victories you’ve accumulated over the season, you know you need help.

After the second week of the Premier League season, West Bromwich Albion was one of the three clubs that had a 100% record in the league after defeating AFC Bournemouth and Burnley. A home and an away victory by a ‘1-0’ score was how West Bromwich Albion started the 2017/18 Premier League.

After winning their first three competitive matches since the 2017/18 Premier League began, West Bromwich Albion has gone 20 successive league matches without a win, losing 11 matches that included 4 consecutive defeats from October 21, 2017- November 18, 2017.

On Saturday, January 5, 2017, West Bromwich will travel to St James Park (Exeter) to take on Exeter City in the third round of the English FA Cup.

With Exeter City in EFL League Two, the gap in talent should be more than enough for West Bromwich to use this as an opportunity to get back to winning ways and build some much-needed confidence to return to a path that can help save their season in the Premier League.

Advancing to the next round of the FA Cup will also be nice.

Upcoming Premier League fixtures in January for West Brom is a home match against Brighton & Hove Albion, and then away matches against Everton and Manchester City.
