Could you really be considered a fan of football if you allow these weekend fixtures to go by without catching at the very least a half?

We have games that will have an effect on the title race in the Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga, and the English Premier League; that has two local derbies on Sunday.

Note this list of mouth-watering fixtures in your planner for this weekend.

December 9, 2017
Juventus vs Inter Milan
Real Madrid vs Sevilla

December 10, 2017
Liverpool vs Everton
Manchester United vs Manchester City

Juventus vs Inter Milan (Italian Serie A)
The last round of the 2017/18 Italian Serie A season saw Juventus knock Napoli off the top of the league table by giving them their first league defeat. Inter Milan took advantage of the result and climbed to the top of the table.

Juventus will put themselves in a great position to defend the league title if they hand Inter Milan a first league defeat of the season.

Successfully accomplishing this objective will mean that Juventus would have consecutively defeated two undefeated sides in the league.

Two points separate first-placed Inter Milan from third-placed Juventus, so victory for the home side is enough to see the leap over the away side in the league standings.

Napoli will benefit from a Juventus victory if they can bounce back and win at home over Fiorentina.

Juventus home record and the recent defeat of Napoli might make them favorites ahead of this match, but Inter Milan has remained undefeated for a reason.

Real Madrid vs Sevilla (Spanish La Liga)
Sevilla’s standards might not be as high as Real Madrid, but they are an ambitious team that is constantly working their way up the footballing ladder.By Real Madrid’s standards, being in 8-points from the top and fourth place is not where they see themselves after 14 games in the La Liga season. 4th-placed Real Madrid will be welcoming 5th-placed Sevilla for the 15th round of the 2017/18 La Liga season. Both teams are tied in points on the league table and will both be looking for the victory to move above the other. Goal difference is what separates third-place Real Madrid from fourth-place Sevilla in the league standings.

Liverpool vs Everton (English Premier League)
The Merseyside Derby
Home advantage and the possession of the league top-scorer makes Liverpool the favorite ahead of the first Merseyside Derby in the 2017/18 English Premier League season.

Liverpool and Everton have had opposite start to their season. While Liverpool is doing okay in achieving some of their pre-season expectations, Everton has had a hard time finding their footing.

Grabbing their first set of consecutive league victories in their most recent fixtures will suggest that Everton is turning into the right direction. However, those results came against a struggling and underachieving West Ham United, and a newly-promoted Huddersfield Town.

Manchester United vs Manchester City (English Premier League)
The Manchester Derby

Is this a Title decider?

The league title looks to be going to Manchester at the end of this year’s Premier League season.
2nd-placed Manchester United has the opportunity to use their home advantage to reduce the 8-point gap between themselves and their local/title rival Manchester City.

Records will be made or broken –
Manchester United are undefeated at home in 40 matches but will be playing the match without Paul Pogba, who is shown by the statistics to be the key to their best offensive output.

Manchester City has shown dominance since the start of the season. They’ve remained undefeated and will break the record for the most winning streak in the Premier League history if they can clinch an away victory at Old Trafford.
