Monaco can easily fall out of the tio half of the standings if they suffer defeat.

Valencia vs Atletico Madrid (Spanish La Liga)
Reversed Fixture – Atletico Madrid 1-1 Valencia – Dani Parejo’s 82nd-minute equalizer denied Atletico Madrid a win.

Valencia has lost their last two competitive matches but a home win here could see them in the top four while dragging Atletico Madrid from their current 4th position.

Beating Granda in the last round was Atletico Madrid’s first victory since their Spanish Super Cup final defeat. A consecutive victory is needed to keep their place in the top four at the end of the round.

Istanbul Basaksehir vs Besiktas (Turkish Super Lig)
Reversed Fixture – Besiktas 1-1 İstanbul Basaksehir – Burak Yılmaz’s 84th-minute goal from the penalty spot allowed Besiktas to escape a defeat at home.

As things stand, Istanbul Basaksehir is in the title race while Besiktas is racing to be part of European football in the coming season.

Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt (German Bundesliga)

Dortmund will need to bounce back defeat from their last match when Eintracht Frankfurt pays them a visit. Eintracht Frankfurt are unbeaten in their last 5 matches in all competitions.

Reversed Fixture – Braga 0-4 Benfica – A brace from Pizzi and two own goals saw Bragga lose 4-0 in front of their supporters.

Defeat against Porto in the last round has denied Benfica the room to drop points in this fixture. Benfica will need a repeat result against Braga from their earlier meeting to guarantee that their four point lead in the title race.

Paderborn vs Hertha Berlin (German Bundesliga)

With the resignation of manager Jurgen Klinsmann, Hertha Berlin first test will be picking up three points from bottom table Paderborn.

Paderborn will be coming into the match with high they got from picking up a point at Schalke.

2nd vs 3rd.
Barcelona will have to fend off the team that is closest to them in the title race.

Stretching their winning streak to four matches could see Lille move to third place, while possibly allowing Paris St. Germain to widen their gap at the top of the league table.

Cagliari vs Napoli (Italian Serie A)
Reversed Fixture – Napoli 0-1 Cagliari – (against the run of play) a goal in the 87th-minute from Lucas Castro broke Napoli’s heart. It didn’t help that Kalidou Koulibaly was also sent off 2 minutes later.
Napoli must return the favor in this match to leap over Cagliari in the standings.

Both teams haven’t been in the best form, with Napoli being the bigger disappointment.
Cagliari hasn’t had a win in all competitions in their last 10 games.

Lazio vs Inter Milan (Italian Serie A)

The top spot is on the line.
Two of the contesting three teams in the Serie A title race will face each other in an attempt to shape the top end of the league table.

Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo (Spanish La Liga)

With Barcelona facing Getafe, there is the potential that win here could see Real Madrid streat their lead at the top of the Spanish La Liga standings.
