As it stands, Lyon (2nd in the league) has the final Champions League direct qualification ticket from the league. Third place Monaco is just a point behind Lyon and only a point above 4th place Marseille. Monaco can still dream of Champions League football if they are to hold on to their league position. Marseille will have to settle for Europa League unless they find success in the final games of the season to take advantage of potential slip-ups by the teams above.
None of the teams can afford to drop points unless the other two teams in the contest do the same.

It is not likely that newly promoted Amiens will suffer relegation, a Lyon victory against fellow recent promoted side Troyes will secure Amiens safety from relegation. Amiens other option is to beat Paris St.Germain in the next round. It doesn’t look like Amiens will be going down after a season up.
Recently-promoted Strasbourg can only afford a defeat to Rennes if Toulouse, Troyes, and Lille drop points.

Fortunately for Strasbourg, Toulouse will be facing Lille in a battle to avoid dropping to Ligue 2. A victory for Lille will allow them to escape the relegation zone and trade their position with Toulouse. A Toulouse victory will help them move closer to safety

With 2 league games remaining in the season and both teams tied on 77 points and the fight for Champions League football (and the possibility of a title if Porto does the improbable and lose their final two games of the season), Benfica and Sporting will face each other looking for a victory to protect their position in the league. 4th-place Braga will be able to take advantage or the result from this match if they can get a win against Rio Ave.
