Berlin is Blue
It was a back-to-back win for Hertha Berlin, as the round was kicked-off with a Berlin Derby that saw Hertha Berlin find 4 goals in the second half to avenge their defeat against Union Berlin in the reverse fixture. The result handed Hertha a 4-point lead on their city rival.

Bayer Leverkusen finished the round in the top four after getting a win against Monchengladbach. Kai Havertz contributed 2 goals to Leverkusen’s win on the road against Borussia Monchengladbach.

A Freiburg side that had held RB Leipzig to a draw in the previous round was beaten at home by a Werder Bremen side that came into the match on the back of a ‘4-1’ hammering by Leverkusen. Leonardo Bittencourt’s goal was enough to see Werder Bremen leave Freiburg with 3 points to help in their fight to stay in the Bundesliga.

Every point counts, but a point for Paderborn doesn’t look good enough to help change their destiny. A goal each in the opening 10-minutes saw Paderborn and Hoffenheim share the points in a ‘1-1’ draw.
After a ‘3-0’ defeat against Hertha Berlin, Hoffenheim would be disappointed with the dropped points against bottom-tabled Paderborn.

Der Klassiker could decide the title
Dortmund have themselves in position to make a Der Klassiker win in the coming round set us up for a thrilling end to the season. The fullbacks delivered the goals for a Dortmund win at Wolfsburg. Raphael Guerriero gave Dortmund the lead to take into the break, and Achraf Hakimi doubled it 12 minutes to time.

We’ve come to expect a 3+ goal win for Bayern Munich when they face Frankfurt.
5 different scorers for Bayern Munich to pick up three points from a 5-2 victory against Frankfurt. The victory keeps Bayern’s lead at 4 points; and places them in position to use a Der Klassiker win in the next round to heavily boost their odds of holding on to the Bundesliga title for another season.

Consecutive defeat for Schalke after a 3-0 home defeat against Augsburg denied the opportunity for Schalke to bounce back from the Revierderby defeat in the last round.

Timo Werner gets stronger in the European Golden boot race.
Timo Werner scored a hatrick as RB Leipzig went on to win 8-0 at home in their first meeting of the season with Mainz.
Timo Werner scored a hatrick as RB Leipzig went on to win 5-0 away in their reverse fixture against Mainz.
A 13-0 agg win for RB Leipzig against Mainz in teh 2019/20 Bundesliga season.

It was a consecutive match of 2-2 draws against teams at the edge of the relegation zone for FC Koln after their match against Dusseldorf. FC Koln avoided defeat at home by grabbing two late goals to secure a draw against Fortuna Dusseldorf. With a 2-goal lead in the 88th minute, it looked like Fortuna Dusseldorf had found their way to three points in Cologne to lift themselves closer to escaping relegation-playoffs.
The result makes it Fortuna Dusseldorf’s 4th straight league draw. (4 points in 4 matches)
