Barcelona made it four wins in four, thrashing Valladolid by 7 goals to nil, with Raphinha scoring a hat trick in the process. The result takes Barcelona’s goal tally in the league to 13.

Athletic Club ( 0 ) – ( 1 ) Atlético Madrid
Angel Correa scored the only goal in the second minute of the final added time (90+2′) after coming into the game in the 88th minute, securing Atlético Madrid a 1-0 away win against Athletic Club. The result was crucial for Atlético Madrid to make up for the points dropped in their midweek draw with Espanyol. Athletic Club followed their first league win of the season with a defeat.

Valencia remains without a win after giving up a lead to settle for a 1-all draw at home with Villarreal. The result leaves Villarreal unbeaten.

Alaves scored twice to double their league wins with a 2-0 victory over Las Palmas, leaving Las Palmas without a league win.

Osasuna leaped over Celta Vigo in the league standings by a point, beating them by a goal in a 3-2 game.

Girona made it back-to-back league wins to secure their second victory of the new season with a 2-0 result, keeping Sevilla winless.
