The Spanish La Liga after 30 rounds

SPANISH LA LIGA – Round 30

would’ve been a hattrick for Karim Benzema if he had converted all the penalties awarded to Real Madrid in their 2-1 victory against Celta Vigo. Real Madrid has a 12 point lead with eight more matches left to play in the 2021/22 La Liga.

Barcelona has a game in hand to cup closer to the top of the table.
Sevilla dropped down two positions to 4th after a defeat at Camp Nou.
Pedri’s 72nd-minute strike handed Barcelona the win and the second-place position in the standings.

Joao Felix and Luis Suarez evenly shared the scoring for Atletico Madrid to go six straight wins in the league with a 4-1 home victory against Alaves. The thrashing dropped Alaves to the bottom of the standings, while Levante used a shocking win against Villarreal to climb up a position. Jose Luis Morales allowed relegation-zoned Levanted to hand Villarreal ( a current Champions League quarterfinalist) a 2-0 defeat.
