Cristhian Stuani’s penalty goal in the 88th minute got Girona a 2-1 win over a 10-man Espanyol. It was the first win for Girona in 4 matches, and a 4th consecutive league defeat for Espanyol.
Sergi Gomez picked up a red card for a reckless and dangerous tackle in the 83rd minute to leave Espanyol with a numerical disadvantage.

Robert Lewandowski scored a brace as Barcelona comfortably added three points to their tally through a 4-0 win at Elche. Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres scored the other two goals.

It was a comfortable win for Real Madrid against Valladolid.
Karim Benzema scored a 7-minute hattrick in a 6-0 win.

Atletico Madrid goes 11 league matches unbeaten with their 8th win in the streak coming as a result of Angel Correa’s 86th-minute goal to give them a 1-0 win against Real Betis.
