ATHLETIC CLUB 0-1 SEVILLA

On the balance of play, Athletic Club should have walked away from this tie with a win by a multiple-goal margin.

VILLARREAL 2- 0 RAYO VALLECANO
Two goals in the first half allowed Villarreal to win their first in four league games while handing Rayo Vallecano their first defeat in four matches.

OSASUNA 2- 2 BARCELONA
With the balance of play, it was a deserved point for Osasuna.
Barcelona threw away the lead on two occasions to drop points against Osasuna.
This was the best Barcelona can do against Osasuna after defeat in the last round at home against Real Betis, and a midweek elimination from the UEFA Champions League by Bayern Munich.

Real Betis 4-0 REAL SOCIEDAD
Alex Moreno scored the winning, assisted the insurance goal, and scored the final goal of the match for Real Betis to hand Real Sociedad their third defeat in a row while picking up their fourth straight win in the league.

REAL MADRID 2- 0 ATLETICO MADRID
While their competition was falling apart in other matches,
Real Madrid got a derby win against the defending champion..
Vinicius Junior assisted both of Real Madrid’s goals to see his team clinch another Madrid derby and move 12 points clear at the top of the standings.

Cadiz 1-1 Granada
Jorge Molina’s goal in the 88k minute got Granada to avoid defeat and pick up a point.
