Nov 12. FEYENOORD vs. AZ ALKMAAR (dutch eredivisie): AZ Alkmaar’s match against NEC Nijmegen was left incomplete due to a medical emergency involving Bas Dost. They were trailing with only a few minutes remaining in the final added time. It’s highly likely that this game will be counted as a defeat. As it stands, AZ Alkmaar is 7 points behind the league leaders and still undefeated. They are set to face Feyenoord, the reigning champions. Feyenoord can secure second place with a win.
There are three teams tied with 26 points behind PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie title race after 11 rounds: AZ Alkmaar, Feyenoord, and Twente.

Nov 11. TWENTE vs. NEC NIJMEGEN (dutch eredivisie): Twente will aim to capitalize on a victory against NEC Nijmegen in light of the “Feyenoord vs. AZ Alkmaar” game.

Nov 12. ALMERE CITY vs. AJAX (dutch eredivisie): Ajax’s resurgence will take them on the road to face recently-promoted Almere City. Almere City currently holds a one-point advantage over Ajax in the Eredivisie standings after Round 11, with Ajax still has a game in hand to potentially change the situation. Ajax’s match against RKC Waalwijk was interrupted in the 84th minute due to a medical emergency involving RKC Waalwijk’s goalkeeper, Etienne Vaessen. At the time, Ajax was leading 3-2. The resumption of the game has been scheduled for December 6, 2023. After 11 rounds, Ajax has amassed 11 points from their 10 completed matches, heading into this game with a string of consecutive league victories.

Nov 12. BENFICA vs. SPORTING CP (portuguese primeira liga): Sporting CP managed to come from a goal down to preserve their unbeaten start in the Primeira Liga, avoiding dropping points at home against recently-promoted Estrela da Amadora. Next, they travel to Lisbon to face the reigning champions, Benfica. This clash between the reigning champions and the league leaders is crucial, with just three points separating the two sides. Sporting CP can maintain their position by avoiding defeat, while Benfica can claim the top spot with a home victory.

Nov 11. VITÓRIA DE GUIMARÃES vs. PORTO (portuguese primeira liga): Porto will aim to capitalize on this fixture by securing a win away against Vitoria de Guimaraes, especially after dropping points to Estoril in their last league game at home.

Nov 12. SEVILLA vs. REAL BETIS (spanish la liga): The Seville Derby is sure to be an exciting clash. Sevilla, who are currently hovering just above the relegation zone, will take on Real Betis, who are just below the top quarter of the league. Sevilla will have the home advantage, which could be a boost despite their current poor league position and form. However, it is important to note that form does not always matter in derbies. Sevilla has had the upper hand in recent meetings

Nov 11. REAL MADRID vs. VALENCIA (spanish la liga): Real Madrid, who dropped points against Rayo Vallecano in their last match, will be looking to secure all three points against Valencia, who have gone unbeaten in their last five matches, four of which were in La Liga.

Nov 12. BARCELONA vs. ALAVÉS (spanish la liga): As in most seasons, Barcelona is also in pursuit of the top spot in the league. They will aim for a home win against Alaves, who are just coming from their first league win in 8 games. Barcelona suffered defeat in their midweek Champions League fixture so this will also be an opportunity to help erase that memory.

Nov 11. ARSENAL vs. BURNLEY (english premier league): Arsenal is looking to rebound from their loss to Newcastle in the last round with a win at home against Burnley, one of the league’s worst-performing teams. It is the response Arsenal needs after ending their unbeaten start to the season.

Nov 12. CHELSEA vs. MANCHESTER CITY (english premier league): Chelsea enters the game after ending Tottenham’s unbeaten start to the season, albeit with Tottenham playing most of the game with a numerical disadvantage (9 men). The expectation is that Manchester City will secure the result in Stamford Bridge to advance their title defense season with a win that tightens their grip of the top spot.

Nov 11. MANCHESTER UNITED vs. LUTON TOWN (english premier league): Manchester United is in need of a season revival, and a match against Luton Town presents an opportunity. Manchester United narrowly avoided dropping points in their last league game thanks to Bruno Fernandes’ late winning goal against Fulham. Up next for Manchester United is Luton Town, a team that has been struggling to secure wins but managed to secure a draw against Liverpool in the last round.

Nov 11. BAYERN MUNICH vs. HEIDENHEIM (german bundesliga): After their Der Klassiker win, Bayern Munich is looking to secure points to close in on the top of the table when they host Heidenheim. Bayern Munich are just two points away from the summit. A win, alongside Leverkusen’s failure to beat Union Berlin will put Bayern Munich to the top.

Nov 11. STUTTGART vs. BORUSSIA DORTMUND (german bundesliga): Der Klassiker defeat in the last round has Dortmund at the exiting end of the ‘top 4’ and 7 points off the top of the league. Their midweek victory in the Champions League will be a boost of confidence for them as they take a Stuttgart side that has also had a dip in form with back-to-back league defeats. Stuttgart edges Dortmund through goal difference. Both are on 21 points each after 10 games.

Nov 12. BAYER LEVERKUSEN vs. UNION BERLIN (german bundesliga): The fact that Union Berlin is competing in the Champions League this season underscores their strong performance last season. This season has presented challenges for Union Berlin, and their next fixture is no easier, as they face league leaders Leverkusen, who are also unbeaten in the league. Leverkusen aims to maintain their grip on the top spot with a victory against Union Berlin, a team that has been in a significant slump. Union Berlin has suffered defeat in every league game since winning their first two of the season. A draw in their midweek Champions League fixture is the first time Union Berlin has played a game without losing since they won their opening two games of the Bundesliga season, 13 matches ago.

Nov 12. LAZIO vs. ROMA (italian serie a): Rome derby: There is just a point between the two city rivals after 11 rounds of the season. The two teams share the same stadium, but the “home” team has had the upper hand in recent results. Lazio is playing in the Champions League this season, while Roma is playing in the Europa League.

Nov 11. JUVENTUS vs. CAGLIARI (italian serie a): On paper, Juventus should beat Cagliari at home easily. However, both teams are desperate for points, with Juventus two points off the top of the table and Cagliari just one point above the relegation zone. Cagliari are unbeaten in their last four games, including three league wins.

Nov 12. INTER MILAN vs. FROSINONE (italian serie a): With Juventus closely trailing, Inter Milan’s option to remain top of the Serie A standings is to collect the maximum points against Frosinone. Frosinone has been the best performing of the newly-promoted teams.

Nov 11. LE HAVRE vs. MONACO (french ligue 1): Monaco will face Le Havre in the upcoming round, with a nine-point gap between the two teams. A defeat against Lille a couple of rounds ago cost Monaco their place at the top of the league standings. They are now 2-points from the top of the league and beating recently-promoted Le Havre will be the objective. Le Havre comes to this game after winning their first league game in five matches.

Nov 12. RENNES vs. LYON (french ligue 1): After playing 10 league games, Lyon finds themselves at the bottom of the Ligue 1 table, still searching for their first league victory. Their next opportunity to end this winless streak comes as they visit Rennes. There is a decent chance for Lyon, as Rennes has also been struggling, going without a league win in their last four games.
