The opening match of the season came without any goals in them.
Bordeaux and Nantes ended goalless.

The first goal of the 2020/21 season was a winning goal.
Angers’s Ismael Traore scored the first goal of the season in his team’s win at Dijon.

Damien Da Silva’s goal allowed Rennes to come from behind to pick up a point at Lille.

Monaco avoided an embarrassment after they came from two goals down to avoid an opening day defeat at home against Reims.

Lorient picked up the three points after scoring three second-half goals to recover a first-half deficit against Strasbourg.

Nimes scored 2 in each half without a response against Brest.

Amine Gouiri scored a brace to bring Nice from a goal down to a home win over Lens.
