The ‘Manchester Derby’ and the ‘Madrid Derby’ will be part of the #WeekendBangers.

From the top five league in Europe, only AC Milan (Italian Serie A) has the lead that buys them a round without needing a win to keep their position.

On paper, Atletico Madrid and Paris St. Germain are the league leaders who are going to face the stiffest competition in their league this weekend.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid (Spanish La Liga)
Paris St. Germain vs Lyon (French Ligue 1)

Bayern Munich, Tottenham, Liverpool, and AC Milan will all be expected to get a win from the weekend fixture.

There is also the ‘Manchester Derby’ and the ‘Madrid Derby’ on Saturday.

The leading goal scorers from the top5 leagues.

Spanish La LigaRobert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) – 12 goals
English Premier LeagueDominc Calvert-Lewin (Everton) – 11 goals
French Ligue 1Kylian Mbappe (Paris St. Germain ) – 10 goals
Italian Serie A Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan) – 10 goals
Spanish La LigaMikel Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad) – 7 goals

Huesca vs Alaves (Spanish La Liga)
Huesca’s hope their first win of the season will be against Alaves.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid (Spanish La Liga)

A Madrid Derby that would have it’s mark on the league title race.
The current league leaders will visit the defending champions.

2016 was the last time Atletico won a match against Real Madrid in the league.

A ‘Madrid Derby’ defeat for Atletico Madrid on Saturday will be their first league defeat all season. And even with two games in hand, that will be a dent Atletico Madrid will want to avoid.

Real Sociedad vs Eibar (Spanish La Liga)
Dropping points in the last round cost them their place at the top. Real Sociedad will be hoping a win at home against Eibar will help them take advantage of the result from the ‘Madrid Derby’.

Real Betis vs Villarreal (Spanish La Liga)
Just like Real Sociedad, Villarreal will be hoping to take advantage of the Madrid derby with a win in Sevilla against Real Betis.

Barcelona vs Levante (Spanish La Liga)
Barcelona needs a result to pick them up. Maybe Levante could be the team to do that.

Manchester United vs Manchester City (English Premier League)
Old Trafford will be the place. A derby is a must win, and Manchester United needs a victory to help the week they’ve had, while Manchester City needs it for the season they’ve been having.
Manchester United and Manchester City are both with a game in hand in the Premier League. Manchester United is a position higher and a point higher in the league standings as things stand. Both teams have a game in hand in the league.

Everton vs Chelsea (English Premier League)
It wasn’t that long ago when Everton was considered a title contender. They’ve had 1 win and a draw in their last 7 of 11 league matches played. Chelsea on the other hand have been unbeaten since the second round. (their only defeat in all competitions).

Southampton vs Sheffield United (English Premier League)
Sheffield United will try for the twelfth time to win their first game of the season. They travel to face Southampton.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham (English Premier League)
Fulham vs Liverpool (English Premier League)

Tottenham and Liverpool will both be away over the weekend. They will both need a win away to continue their tight race at the top of the pile in the Premier League.

Chelsea are the only side in position to take the maximum advantage of the unlikely scenario where Tottenham and Liverpool drop points. Chelsea can leap above both teams with a win against Everton if Tottenham and Liverpool were to suffer defeat in their respective away matches.

Saint-Etienne vs Angers (French Ligue 1)
It will be the eleventh league game in a row without a win for Saint-Etienne if they face to come seal a win at home against Angers.

Marseille vs Monaco (French Ligue 1)
Defeat in Lille in the last round has Monaco sitting outside the ‘top 4’ in Ligue 1. They will take on third place Marseille; who are looking for 6th straight win in the league. A win for Monaco will get them 2 points above Marseille, with Marseille still having 2 games in hand.

Lens vs Montpellier (French Ligue 1)
Montpellier 4-match winning streak in Ligue 1 was snapped by Paris St. Germain. They will travel to Lens to make up for the defeat. Lens will use a win to move a point above Montpellier.

Lille vs Bordeaux (French Ligue 1)
Lille will keep up with Paris St. Germain with a win against Bordeaux. A victory will allow Lille to take full advantage of the ‘PSG vs Lyon’ fixture.

PSG vs Lyon (French Ligue 1)
This should be tasty.
A must win for both teams to stay safe in their position in the league standings. Paris St. Germain’s top spot can only be guaranteed with a win against Lyon.
Lyon hasn’t lost a match in their 10 league games; including 4 straight wins.

Dortmund vs Stuttgart (German Bundesliga)
RB Leipzig vs Werder Bremen (German Bundesliga)
Union Berlin vs Bayern Munich (German Bundesliga)
Leverkusen vs Hoffenheim (German Bundesliga)

It’s a must win for all the teams in the top four spot in the Bundesliga standings. Bayern will be the only side travelling, the other three will be hosting.

Augsburg vs Schalke (German Bundesliga)
Schalke must leave Augsburg with a win or make it their 27th successive league match without a win.

Crotone vs Spezia (Italian Serie A)
Crotone’s search for win number 1 of the season will be at home against Spezia. Maybe Crotone’s first win of the season will come against a fellow newly promoted side.

Cagliari vs Inter Milan (Italian Serie A)
Inter Milan must pick up a 4th straight win to keep up pace in the title race.

Napoli vs Sampdoria (Italian Serie A)
Back to back 4-0 wins, Napoli will be going to their game against Sampdoria with all the arrows pointing at another win. A win keeps Napoli in the league title race. Should Inter Milan fail to win, a Napoli win will put Napoli second in a league. Defeat for Napoli could see them drop out of the ‘Top Four’.

Genoa vs Juventus (Italian Serie A)
Just like Napoli, Juventus will go into their match with a need to win to stay safe in the ‘top four’.

AC Milan vs Parma (Italian Serie A)
AC Milan would like to keep their 5-point cushion in the league with a win against Parma. Playing at home and Parma hovering around the relegation spot should be an advantage to AC Milan.

Sassuolo vs Benevento (Italian Serie A)
Points dropped in their last two games has dropped Sassuolo out of the ‘Top Four’ in the league to 5th. Benevento will be Sassuolo’s shot at getting back to a win. Benevento has had successive draws coming into the game; including a draw with Juventus.
