THE ITALIAN SERIE A

Three teams remain unbeaten in Serie A: the two clubs from Turin (Juventus and Torino) and Empoli.
Torino is top of the league table, while Juventus is fourth and the only club in Europe’s top seven leagues to not have conceded a league goal so far. Empoli is fifth.
The defending champions, Inter Milan, are coming off a derby defeat, a 2-1 loss against AC Milan. The result left both Milan clubs on even points (8).
Udinese and Napoli are both a point from the top of the league table.
Empoli and Juventus are two points from the top of the league table.

AC Milan will open the round at home against Lecce. Inter Milan will be away against Udinese. Torino will host Lazio, looking to stay at the top of the Serie A standings.
Napoli will host Monza.
Empoli will host Fiorentina.

THE GERMAN BUNDESLIGA

Bayern Munich held onto the top spot in the Bundesliga standings with a consecutive 5-goal winning margin. Bayern Munich enjoy a three-point lead in the title race, with Bayer Leverkusen, Freiburg, and Eintracht Frankfurt as their closest chasers.

Defending champions Bayer Leverkusen will have their opportunity to cut the lead at the top when they visit Munich to face Bayern. Bayern Munich will be looking to stay unbeaten in the league and make it 5 wins from 5, while Bayer Leverkusen will be aiming to become the first team to take points off Bayern Munich this season.
Freiburg, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, and Union Berlin will all be paying attention to the result from this fixture, hoping they can also find wins to take advantage of the outcome.

Freiburg will host St. Pauli.
Eintracht Frankfurt will be away against Holstein Kiel.
RB Leipzig will host Augsburg.
Union Berlin will be away against Mönchengladbach.
Borussia Dortmund will look for a home win in the Revierderby against Bochum to recover from their humiliating 5-1 defeat to Stuttgart in the last round, a result that handed Dortmund their first defeat of the new season.

Bochum, along with Holstein Kiel and St. Pauli, are the three teams in the Bundesliga without a win this season.

THE ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

Manchester City remains top of the Premier League, but their lead has been reduced to a point, with Liverpool and Aston Villa close behind in the title race.
Arsenal dropped two positions to 4th and are now two points off the top of the league.
Chelsea moved up three positions to 5th with their win over West Ham United.
Wolves have dropped to the bottom of the league table, level on points with Everton and Southampton.

Manchester City will be away against Newcastle United.
Liverpool will be away against Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are currently bottom of the table.
Aston Villa will be away against promoted Ipswich Town.
Arsenal will host promoted Leicester City, who are still without a win.
Chelsea will host Brighton, with Chelsea leading by just a point in the standings.

THE FRENCH LIGUE 1

At the top of the French Ligue 1 table, PSG remains in first place, but without a lead in points after dropping points in a draw with Reims, allowing Marseille and Monaco to catch up, with all three teams now level on 13 points.
The three teams will all be desperate for a win this weekend.
Lens joins them to make it four unbeaten teams in Ligue 1 after five rounds.

Paris Saint-Germain will host Rennes on Friday in the round opener. Monaco will host Montpellier on Saturday, and Marseille will visit Strasbourg on Sunday.

Lens, Nantes, Reims, Nice, Rennes, and Lille are all just one win away from reaching double digits in points.

Lens will face Nice.
Nantes will play Saint-Étienne.
Reims will be away against Angers.
Rennes will face Paris Saint-Germain in Paris.
Lille will be away against Le Havre.
Angers remains the only side in the league without a win after five rounds.

THE DUTCH EREDIVISIE

No change at the top three as they all secured wins this round. PSV remains top of the table with a perfect start to the season.
There are four unbeaten teams in the top five, with fourth-placed Twente being the only one without a perfect record. (PSV Eindhoven, AZ Alkmaar, Utrecht, Twente, and Feyenoord), while RKC sits at the bottom of the table without a point.

This weekend, PSV Eindhoven will look to make it 7 wins from 7 in the Eredivisie when they take on Willem II.
AZ Alkmaar will host Utrecht, with both teams unbeaten.
Twente will take on recently-promoted NAC Breda.
Feyenoord will be away against NAC Breda.

RKC Waalwijk will try for their first point of the season at home against Ajax.

THE PORTUGUESE PRIMEIRA LIGA

The “Big Three” are occupying the top spots in the Primeira Liga standings. Sporting CP sits at the summit, boasting a perfect record as they aim to defend their title. FC Porto holds second place, three points behind, while Benfica has climbed into third following a win over Boavista in the final match of the round. At the other end of the table, Farense remains anchored at the bottom, having yet to secure a single point this season.

Sporting CP will kick off the round away against Estoril.
Porto will host Arouca.
Benfica will host Gil Vicente.
Newly-promoted Santa Clara is having an amazing start, sitting just behind the big three and only a win away from equaling points with second place. They take on Boavista this weekend.

THE SPANISH LA LIGA

There are eight midweek games scheduled in the Spanish La Liga.
Barcelona and Real Madrid occupying the top two spots in La Liga is business as usual. Both teams remain unbeaten, with Barcelona holding the top spot thanks to a flawless winning record. Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid have reclaimed third place after briefly slipping to fourth over the weekend.
At the other end of the table, Getafe and Las Palmas are still searching for their first wins of the season, with Las Palmas rooted to the bottom of the standings, having collected the fewest points.

This weekend, Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid will go head-to-head in the Madrid derby, with both sides eager to claim crucial points to keep pace with Barcelona in the title race. Barcelona, currently holding a 4-point lead, will travel to face Osasuna, aiming to make it eight wins from eight and take full advantage of any slip-up in the derby.
