Domenico Berardi’s goals restored Sassuolo’s lead and got them their first win of the new season through a ‘3-1’ victory over a Hellas Verona side that had started their season with wins.

AC Milan left Roma with the three points after kicking off both halves of the match with an early goal. Olivier Giroud opened the scoring in the 9th minute through a penalty kick, and Rafael Leao doubled the lead three minutes into the second half. Leonardo Spinazzola scored the consolation goal for a Roma side that is now without a win in their first three league games.

Roccardo Orsolini missed a penalty, but that did not stop Bologna from getting the goals in the second half to come from a goal down to pick up their first win of the season with a ‘2-1’ win over Cagliari.

Gianluca Scamacca scored a brace as Atalanta bounced back from defeat to Frosinone with a ‘3-0’ win over a Monza side that was coming off their first win of the season.

The defending champions suffered their first defeat of the season, and at home, to a Lazio side that had lost all their games before the fixtures. Daichi Kamada scored the only goal of the second-half to give Lazio a ‘2-1 win in Naples. It would have been a win by a bigger margin for Lazio if VAR hadn’t intervened.

Lautaro Martinez scored twice as Inter Milan picked up a ‘4-0’ win against Fiorentina.

Nemanja Randonjic’s goal in the fourth minute of the final added minutes allowed Torino to pick up their first win of the season through a ‘1-0’ win at home against a Genoa side that was coming off their first win of the season through the same scoreline against Lazio.

Juventus took a ‘2-0’ away win against an Empoli side that didn’t have a bite. Dusan Vlahovic’s penalty miss didn’t come at a cost to Juventus, as they picked up three points to keep Empoli at the bottom of the table without a win.

Lecce stayed unbeaten by picking up their second league victory of the season through a ‘2-0’ win against Salernitana.
