The Italian Serie A after Round 20: Napoli is running clear.

 

Napoli moved 13 points clear in the lead after beating Roma on a day AC Milan was beaten at home by Sassuolo.
Inter Milan moved up two positions to 2nd.
Lazio held on to third place despite dropping points in a draw with Fiorentina.
AC Milan dropped three positions down to 5th.
Atalanta moved up two positions to 4th place after a win against Sampdoria.
Roma dropped a position to 6th after their defeat in Naples.

The relegation zone remained as it was but Hellas Verona picked up a point against Udinese in the final match of the round.
Cremonese and Sampdoria are still on single-digit in points.

Salernitana beats Lecce to win their first league match in eight attempts. They got the majority of the three goals scored in the opening 23 minutes of the match to win 2-1.

Torino came from two goals down to get a 2-2 draw that allowed them to keep a point gap lead on Empoli in the league standings.

After a defeat against Empoli in the last round, another defeat would have caused a lot some considerable damage to Inter Milan’s seasonal ambitions. Lautaro Martinez took his chances and scored two goals to bring Inter Milan from a goal down against Cremonese to a 2-1 win.

It’s five league matches unbeaten for Atalanta as they followed a ‘3-3’ draw in Turin against Juventus with a 2-0 win at home against Sampdoria. .

A ‘5-2’ win in San Siro (against AC Milan) handed Sassuolo their first league win in 9 matches. AC Milan is without a win in their last 6 competitive fixtures. Four league matches made up of 2 defeats and 2 draws, elimination from the Coppa Italia at the Round of 16 stages, and losing the Supercoppa Italiano final to Inter Milan.

Juventus go three games without a win, while Monza completed a league double.
In their first-ever season in the Serie A, Monza has successfully kept a 100% win record and a clean sheet against the most successful club.
They doubled in Turin the margin of victory they enjoyed at Monza.
This result can also be counted as Monza’s revenge for their Coppa Italia exit
in Turin ten days prior.

Giovanni Simeone entered the game in the 76th minute after Napoli had lost their lead in the 75th minute.
Simeone went on to restore Napoli’s lead 10 minutes later to get them the three points at home to take full advantage of the results around them.
